[7.450][INFO][ANSWERED] webmin timeout not enforced for dashboard

I am not sure if this is intended but webmin doesn't timeout if user login and stay on dashboard.

Dashboard is set to refresh every 5 sec, I think this is why it doesn't time out and logout the session.

I think we need to handle timeout some other way to make sure logged in session not being misused.

If it's going to be changed, I'd recommend there be an option to choose the timeout behaviour; personally I'd like it to NOT timeout if I'm looking at the dashboard.

Can't you set your PC to lock the screen?

This was discussed in the last betas, too. ASG will not automatically log out, if either the Dashboard or a live log window are open.

I would also support an option where this can be changed.

correct - as long as you're on the dashboard, you're session won't time out.
