AP55C Bricked

I have a steady green light on a AP55C. As I understand it means it can't boot. Most likely it's a faild firmware upgrade. Is there any way to unbrick it without having to send it to Sophos? No console port, no reset buttun, no nothing.

  • Hi All,

For such instances, please raise an RMA request with the Sophos Support team and get the AP replaced if it is still under warranty.

  • Hi,

I too have what appears to be a bricked AP55C and without warranty. This item is rendered useless unless as you say I raise an RMA and pay for the it to be unbricked or

follow the threads that lead to a manual reflashing method which quite frankly for someone unaccustomed to working with putty and openwrt seems risky and prone to failure.

Surely as is the case for older AP's Sophos must have a downloadable reflash tool or instructions?

    kind regards
