Sophos managed Wi-Fi over VPN?

Does anyone know if the managed wi-fi will work over a VPN? We have an XG230 at our head office with 5 Sophos AP's connected and working fine. I am just wondering if I were to buy 2 AP's to cover a branch office which is connected by IPSEC would this work? Could those AP's be managed by the XG?

If so, would it be possible to have a seperate wi-fi policy for that branch office so that they use the branch office internet gateway or would they need to send all traffic back to the XG?

Does anyone have experience with this?
