I use Sophos on my I phone and everything stored in my Sophos app is encrypted. It is set to use my fingerprint to open and log in and that works but now when I go to open my files it prompts me for a passphrase it hasn't done that before why is it doing it now? Do I need to change settings? I'm not sure what the passphrase is.
Hi Andrea ,
Could you check what is the passphrase used to unlock your phone.
In reply to Aditya Patel:
I just deleted the files and used another key and reuploaded my files... I have my passphrase where I wont forget it. Just don't know why all that happened in the first place.
In reply to Andrea Minogue:
It is possible that your phone may have updated the OS version and may have cleared the settings.
I did upgrade my iOS but this happened a few days after the upgrade so I don't think it was that. It even worked for half the day and then went to use it in the afternoon and it was asked for my passphrase as soon as I went to open my encrypted file even though I was already logged into my Sophos app
Sorry could not determine the root cause except for the OS updates, could you type your password and check if you are re-able touch ID for that application.
