We have just started using Sophos Cloud. A computer was registered using a link from the wrong persons email. We deleted that computer from the Cloud. Now we cannot re-register that computer because of tamper protection on that computer. We cannot get the password because the computer has been deleted. Is there a way to retrieve the password after to computer has been deleted? Is there a way to uninstall without the password? This is version 11.2.5 Cloud

I am having the same issue as Gavin. Can you please send me the steps? I deleted a Mac from the computer list in Sophos central and can't remove Sophos due to the tamper protection password.
Exact same issue, no possibility to simply roll back? restore a previous point? undo action?
As an improvement to Sophos, and as this seems to happen often, may be you can warn the admin once or twice and prompt him to say that the machine is tamper protected and that they should remove that first.

Hey Aditya, I have the same issue as many others in this forum
We've had several Macs that have been deleted out of Sophos Central Admin and can no longer reinstall the Sophos Cloud client back onto these Macs without wiping and reinstalling the OS - due to tamper protection being on.
Are you able to send me the instructions via Private Message to remove Sophos Cloud off these clients so I can get it reinstalled for my users?

On Windows 8.1 i cannot uninstall Sophos. I don't have the Password anymore.
Can you send me the steps also to uninstall the Client on the PC?

I have the same issue on a server running Endpoint for server, I was going to uninstall but I removed it from Sophos Central prior to uninstalling. Is there anything you can do for me?
I am also having this problem with Mac - removed from Central but now unable to remove locally without the tamper proof password. How do you overcome this? Please could someone help.

My customer just ended his Sophos Central trial and he removed his PC from the cloud. Now he is unable to uninstall the endpoint due to tamper protection enabled.
I hope you can share me the solution you mentioned.
