Overview

The ability for Admins to manually enter mailbox alias records is now live in Sophos Email on Central.

If you’re not using Active Directory, or looking to install it, this feature is what you’ve been waiting for.

 

How it works

Perfect for directing generic email address to a specific member of the team e.g. info@yourdomain.com, or when you an employee prefers their mail to be delivered to their assistants mailbox.

Adding alias records is simple in Sophos Email, whether in bulk or through ad hoc updates. Watch this short video to view the process for adding and editing records and get setup in no time.

Remarks

  • Updates will be automatically applied to your Sophos Email service in Sophos Central
  • Any custom settings will be unaffected by the change
