No, I never did get a satisfactory response from Sophos.

Whilst Barb@Sophos has provided a response, you also need to refer to the EAS standalone proxy information in this document,

Together with the information from Barb, you should be able to figure it all out.

I have been using the last document you list. I will go through the other documents tomorrow in detail.

i have setup a server that is running the EAS proxy application, went through the configuration using our wildcard certificate, uploaded the certificate that the eas proxy configurator generates. I have then used mobile to create a profile, that the server address for the iphone is to the url listed in mobile in the eas proxy tab. Phone picks up the account fine, prompts for password, but it errors out as unable to connect.

Check the eas server logs, and all seems ok, but clearly not connecting as no traffic seems to be passing.

One thing I have read in a quick read of the documents you listed, should EAS proxy be able to work with the native ios email app? I wont be able to tempt our users over to using the sophos mail app.

Hi Richard,

Yes, we did eventually get it working. We needed to follow the deployment guide for the standalone EAS proxy guide to understand how clients would connect and the Cloud instructions to get the proxy to talk to Cloud Mobile.

If you read through both the deployment guide and the information Barb@Sophos posted you should manage.
