Admin Login Failure

I am currently unable to log in to Sophos Central I get the error shown in the attached screen snip when I try. If I ask for a password reset I get no response, can anybody suggest a way I can gain access to the Console?

    I assume you're the only admin login on the Central Account?  No one else can help you?

    Sorry if this sounds a bit obvious but I assume you have previous emails from the account? Say for deployments, alerts?  The email address you're trying matches the to address?

    If it's a genuine email account I see no reason why the password reset workflow wouldn't be working?  Could those be going to your spam folder or in some way filtered before they get to you?  A inbox rule to move them?

    Otherwise, I think the only option here is to contact Support, the password reset is the only thing you can do.

  • I was afraid that that would be the answer. I was getting status updates until yesterday, I am pretty sure the login details are correct as they were cached in the browser.

  • In that case, if you go to https://cloud.sophos.com in Chrome as an example, then I guess the password is filled in but you can't see it.

    If you right click on the password field and choose "Inspect", it will open the Developer Tools and highlight the code behind the form.

    You should see type="password".  If you change that to type="text" you'll see what was lurking in the field.  Does that look right?

    For the future, I have a bookmark (just set the URL value) which calls the following code:

    You now have a button to expose all password fields.

    In the year 2019, Today and since a week ago I am presenting the same problem for a week. How did you solve it?

    I opened a support case and I still do not receive a solution. ([#8762696] cannot access central.sophos.com)

    My credentials are in order and I have done many tests on different computers and browsers.

    I have also performed the process of resetting password several times.

    The notifications keep coming to the email but I can not enter the console for corrective action.
