Thanks for the information.

Tested and it works like a miracle.

Looking from another point of view, this script can be quite scary as it just simply disable the feature without any verification required and users/machines can easily be jeopardized when there's an unauthorized physical access from an outsider.

What if it's not longer connecting to the cloud console in order to disable tamper protection?

In my case, I use Mac, as I do to force the removal. I removed the device in Sophos Central and is now requiring the Tamper password [:'(]

1. Log in to Sophos Central and access Logs & Reports > Recover Tamper Protection passwords.
2. Click on View details to expand the password(s) that has been set on the endpoint or server. The password at the top of the list is the most recent. This password can be used to authenticate on the local endpoint or server, allowing access to the Settings and the option to disable Tamper Protection.

Note: The report will display endpoints and servers that have been deleted over the previous 60 days.

I did as it helped me and I managed to remove the sophos endpoint.
