ERROR: Could not find a source for updated packages.

User showing an error with her Windows 7 32-bit desktop. ERROR: Could not find a source for updated packages.

Event log shows out of date message appeared 04 April. Daily scans are conducted without issue, other protection policies appear to also be working as intended.

This is apparently the only computer in our domain that is experiencing this problem.

Would I need to check her client settings at the endpoint? Maybe a missing filepath for updates?

The logs present under C:\ProgramData\Sophos\AutoUpdate\Logs\ would give you more information on why it is failing to update.

Thank you Yashraj. The error I find in the log:

ERROR Policy is empty. Update cannot continue.

Her client showed that a restart was required, so I gave that a shot. We'll see if it clears out the error from my control dashboard.
