Sophos Endpoint for mac silent install

Is there a way to really silently install the sophos cloud client for mac?
I have to deploy it but I still have a GUI that starts.

#sudo /tmp/SophosInstall/Sophos\ Installer.app/Contents/MacOS/Sophos\ Installer --install

Whether creating a pkg or via ARD I have the same result, the user must necessarily validate this window.

Are there cli options like for windows?

Hi.

I already follow this kb to create my pkg…

But I always have the gui to validate.

I have 200 Mac andi wan't to push it via munki or ARD, but the process is not quiet.

Hi.

I'm realy sorry, but the answer did not help me. I already follow this kb.

I wan't to migrate my entreprise console versiont to our new cloud version.

I can silentltly uninstall my old version but I can't reinstall the new version without intercat with the user …

It's not possible to have a realy silent install with this cloud version like with my old version ?

Hi Guys,

I am having the same issue, we are trying to deploy the latest version of Sophos Endpoint Cloud from the Partner Portal silently via JAMF. During testing (Manually installing on a test mac via terminal) we have tried to follow each of the below KB's but everything we try we still get the GUI coming up.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

Unfortunately, we do not have any option for silent installation in Mac machines.

Hi Gowtham Mani,

This was a feature of older installers but has suddenly stopped working. Is Sophos looking to fix this at all?

I work for an MSP who is a Sophos Partner as such performing Sophos installs all the time and often on Macs.

This no means we have to do manual installs which increases the manpower required for a deployment as such cost more.

This will not assist in proposing Sophos as a solution as deployment costs will be much higher.

I am happy to do testing if Sophos is willing to work with me on this.

I don't want to seem like a complainer but true is in Sophos interest to resolve this.
