Unable to install Sophos Enpoint - No log found

Hello,

i can't install Sophos on a Windows 2016 Server. I was need to uninstall a previous installation of Sophos Enpoint because the sub estate was not the good one. Now after a bad uninstallation error, i can't install the new installation:

The following service is visible :

I deleted c:\program files\sophos and x86 folder

I don't find any log in the temp folder.

Hi Julian Cast,

Can you give a try to the following KBA for uninstalling the previously installed client from the server? Try installing the client post running the script and let us know if that works.

The logs of the thin installer go to:
C:\ProgramData\Sophos\CloudInstaller\Logs\

If it installs software then you would get logs in the installing user temp location, i.e. %temp%

Hello,

i solved this problem.

I take a copy on another good installation on another server from C:\Program Files (x86)\Sophos and C:\Program Files\Sophos to original folder

Stop all services of Sophos

Réinstalling Sophos

Uninstalling

OK
