Sophos is currently investigating some reports of the Sophos Central ADsync Utility intermittently reporting a "Failed active directory synchronization" error, with no intervention or changes with the account used to login.
This is primarily seen during a configured scheduled sync times (vs manual syncing), and this particular failure started on or after May 21st.
Sophos is actively investigating. This KB article will be updated as more information becomes available.

The issue has been resolved.
Error 'HttpRequestCommand.EnsureSuccessStatusCodeResponseChecker' can still occur for the different reason. Please refer to the "What to do" section of this article.
