I use Sandboxie with "Windows 7 Prof" 32bit. I use it together with Firefox 68.0. 3 GB RAM.
Since some weeks suddenly I get a yellowish window and then I realize, that Sandboxie has broken down.
When I open the windows 7 snipping tool, the yellow colour disappears. But when I close the snipping tool, the yellowish colour comes back. I can surf the internet, but all is yellow.
I then must close the browser.
Restart Sandboxie Control. Restart the Browser, and it works again.
I must say, that I always have a lot of tabs open. But till a few weeks ago this was never a problem.
Thank you for your reply.

Are you running any specific sites when the issue occurs? . If you provide exact repro steps, I'll give it another go.
If you leave the browser outside Sandboxie for 2 days, do you see the same behavior?
Regarding the messages, they are "likely" related to an extension or an antivirus. www.sandboxie.com/SBIE2203www.sandboxie.com/SBIE2327
Please, test a clean browser to see if that makes the sbie messages go away. If not, then provide a list of what else is running when the issue occurs, and if present, consider disabling any 3rd party AV and re-test.

No it does not look like there would be any particular site that makes this issue.
Before I test the browser outside, I would like to say, that I use a third party firewall.
There is another problem with sandboxie. Maybe this is a more easy case. And maybe this has something to do with the other issue:
Whenever I choose menu->help->looking for updates->check now
I get the following message: Something like:"Unable to update. An error occured by trying to connect to the sandboxie website."
-> I have now changed the third party firewall to the windows own firewall. But the message "Unable to update. An error occured by trying to connect to the sandboxie website." still occurs.
Test without a Firewall to see if you can make a connection. You may try using a cellphone hotspot or another network. Windows Firewall, typically, doesn't block Sandboxie from accessing the server. But if you have changed the default settings, you'll need to ensure Sbie is whitelisted and allowed to access the internet.
Please access the activation thread to ensure your connection to the server can be achieved: https://community.sophos.com/products/sandboxie/f/sandboxie-forum/112743/solved-activation-failed---fixed-as-of-may-13th---please-provide-feedback
Another thing to try is resetting your internet settings ( type inetcpl.cpl --> Go to the Advanced tab, restore advanced settings, re-test. If needed, use the Reset button and re-test).
Relating to "searching if there is an update" I was successful.I found the solution in your Linkhttps://community.sophos.com/products/sandboxie/f/sandboxie-forum/112743/solved-activation-failed---fixed-as-of-may-13th---please-provide-feedback
First I tried your tipp:"resetting your internet settings"
This was not successful. My internetsetting by default is:
But then I activated in addition manually TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2(this is not the dafault in my system. As I wrote above: I use IE 8 (not IE 11).
After this change "searching if there is an update" works. :-)
I just got a Yellow Screen of Death. It appeared to be like the Blue Screen of Death, except it was bright yellow with white text, and I was unable to make anything out as far as exactly what was written mywegmansconnect
