encryption of files on web builds

I need to get some clarity. We are looking to use SafeGuard Enterprise, I can envisage developers working on files locally and then publishing encrypted files which will simply not work and could cause headaches troubleshooting which files are encrypted.  Is there a way to deal with developers in different manner through the management console?

    Yes, we do have a way to deal with developers account. Before that please help me with the following:

    1. What is the version of SGN you have?

    2. Are you using File-based encryption or Volume-based encryption?

    3. Do the dev team have to encrypt files locally?

    4. What is your objective for protecting local and network files?

    5. What is the type of file you are working on?

    6. Most importantly the Local and App-based encryption work differently, so we need to know which one you have?
