Windows 7 Pro GPT computers

How does everyone handle encrypting Windows 7 Pro computers that were setup previously for years with GPT disks?  or even Windows 10 for that matter

  • It depends -- we are using SafeGuard encryption & not BitLocker (not paying for Enterprise/Ultimate -- it's included /w Pro from Win 8 on). If using SafeGuard encryption, you'll have to format the unit or otherwise convert to MBR (If you find a tool that converts to MBR w/out data destruction / OS destruction I'd be happy to hear it). If using SafeGuard to manage bitlocker it'll work fine.
