Checking server connectivity with client

Hi - I'm not having this problem but I know a lot of people do.

I found this ages ago and meant to post it but keep forgetting!

This is probably mentioned in some guide too, I've not found the holy grail here but I thought it would be useful if people aren't aware of this when they do a new install.

 

Once the client is installed on the workstation navigate to

C:\Program Files (x86)\Sophos\SafeGuard Enterprise\Client

and run SGNCSCC

It will produce a nice easy table and is a lot easier than typing in your server's address(es) and gives you more info than the standard recommended invoke test.

 

Note I've removed my servers addresses and PING is prevented on my LAN so this failure is expected.
