[Sophos Notification] Microsoft's July updates on Windows 10 break several file encryption capabilities of SafeGuard Enterprise 8.0 / SafeGuard LAN Crypt 3.95.3

Sophos has released a security and compatibility patch which addresses this issue. The 8.00.6 security and compatibility patch include all fixes from the previous 8.00.5 Client Rollup patch.

Is there any update patch for SafeGuard Lan Crypt 3.95 on Windows 10?

Currently, there is no update on the update patch for Safeguard Lan Crypt. Sophos Safeguard Lancrypt will be the end of life on 30th Septemeber, 2019 from our side. Sophos is transitioning future development, maintenance, and support for LAN Crypt to the German encryption specialist conpal GmbH. You can refer to this site for information.

Can I ask that modifications to the page are listed/commented on? This page has been modified literally every few days and I'd like to know what's been added/taken away?

We have released the SafeGuard Enterprise 8.0.6 Security and Compatibility Patch for Windows 10 clients. Details about this release can be found here. 

This patch fixes an issue with the Microsoft Windows 10 Updates introduced in July 2019. The patch is cumulative and includes SGN 8.0.5 and other hotfixes.

That's not what I'm saying. Someone is actively changing that page (https://community.sophos.com/kb/en-us/134569) I have at least four versions of this page now. I'd like to know what's changing on that page? Are you adding more known issues/changing the patch MSP etc?

Sorry for the confusion here. The link to the patch for version 8.00.6 was not publicly live on the Sophos.com which is publically live now on Sophos.com. We have not done any addition to the known issue or resolved issue in the KB article.

Please let us know if you have observed any big change from your side.

Thank you Jasmin. Sadly the fix doesn’t resolve our issue with OneDrive. I have logged this as a ticket (urgent) many days ago but no-one has replied yet.
