Real time monitoring events

Hi everyone

I need to monitor in real time the SGN events of all users with Splunk.
From the Safeguard manual I saw that everything written on the Sgn Database is written to the auditing \ SGMTranslog file and only after a certain number of events is it transcribed on the Database.
How can I monitor this file in real time? How often is this file written? After how many events the file is transcribed in the database?
