RADAR Security

Overview

Reflexion Networks understands that the security and protection of your information is paramount. Accordingly, Reflexion Archiving, Discovery and Recovery (RADAR) provides multiple levels of security to ensure that your data and documents are kept confidential.

Physical Security

The RADAR infrastructure is housed within multiple geo dispersed tier 3/4 datacenters. These facilities are provided by Coresite, Equis, SuperNap, and Verizon. These secure facility provides all standard Tier 4 data center provisions including redundant air conditioning systems (HVAC), fire detection & suppression, and both flood and earthquake mitigation systems. All areas of the centers are monitored using CCTV, and all access points are controlled. The center is staffed with 24-hour security officers to augment physical security features. In addition, the centers are supported by Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems and multiple emergency backup power generation systems.

Network Security

Reflexion’s security infrastructure is designed and maintained ensure that the RADAR application delivers the maximum possible protection from malicious attack, infection, or intrusion.

Communication Security

Web access to RADAR is optionally available via industry standard encrypted SSL connections. This means that all web data transferred between users and the RADAR application is securely encrypted. Internally all data is encrypted both in-flight and at rest, meeting or exceed the requirements for compliance and security best practices.

Application Security & Auditing

RADAR provides native security policy enforcement to ensure that access to the archive is granted to only authorized users. User passwords are encrypted using a one-way cryptographic hash, and cannot be viewed regardless of the level of access to the system. In addition, all message operations are recorded to provide an audit trail that can be retrieved for any compliance obligations.

Data Protection

All email and attachment data retained in RADAR are encrypted on disk using a unique encryption key randomly generated for each customer account. When using RADAR in collaboration with Reflexion Total Control, all inbound and outbound email is first scanned for viruses, spam and phishing attempts prior to delivery to the RADAR message store.

Data Reliability & Replication

All data is stored on archival quality online storage with multiple replicas maintained onsite. Optionally you can have the option to have your archive delivered to you on a periodic basis. All archive data is periodically geo-replicated to an alternate location to allow for DR/BCM requirements.

ExchangeSync Security

For ExchangeSync™ users, all traffic between ExchangeSync™ and the RADAR application is encrypted via industry standard SSL connections.
