sophos pure message SMTPScan.log error 0x80040154 event id 68

Hi all,

We've got a fresh setup server 2016 standard with exchange 2016.

On that system a sophos central server portect client is installed beside a puremessage 4.0.3 AV only.

The setup itself went fine without any errors, and updates are working too.

Problem is that we getting tons of erros in windows application and the sophos SMTPScan.log like this:

"Failed to create the virus engine while processing message '<fde8f4dfbae34d6495a6ac2db8efb3c5@cps.gmbh>' (error: '0x80040154')

22.09.2017 16:39:33 Delivered message '<fde8f4dfbae34d6495a6ac2db8efb3c5@cps.gmbh>' to recipients 'xxx'"

Tried already reregistering different dll's as some KBs are refering to with no success.

I believe this issue is been caused due to a gap between engine and os.

in retrospect the issue should not be happening all the time, but may happen when savi updates..
