Radio France sells guns?

I had Sophos configured to block websites about weapons, until I tried to visit Radio France International. It was blocked because Sophos believes that RFI is a weapons site. This is only the most recent time I've run into this problem.

What good is a blocklist if it's often wrong? Sophos' lists contain too many similar mistakes and absurdities to be trustworthy. No question here, only annoyance.

  • My point is that Radio France was blocked by Sophos when I tried to visit it, because, according to Sophos, it promotes weapons. I don't know how Sophos determines that a website falls into a proscribed category. But claiming that this site promotes weapons is absurd.

I was able to visit the site today, only because I disabled Web Filtering in Sophos.
