Remote Wipe Windows 10

Hi all:

I am trying to verify for a client that remote wipe of a Windows 10 managed device can be achieved. Thus far I am unable to accomplish. Task gets "accepted" "Started" "Notified" "Commands Sent" and then "Completely failed" with error description "Timeout while waiting for results."

Ideas?

What is the version of Sophos mobile control you are using? And are you facing the same issue with an Android device?

Sorry I replied in email, but will respond here as it will show in forums for others...

How can I tell which version of Mobile I’m on?

I have not tested with an Android, but it does work with ios. My client only has laptops and iphones, so that’s all I was testing. I can get an Android configured and test, but would hope not to have to.

Hi Brent,

To check the version of Mobile application you have to check in the about section on the app.

Just to clarify when you say Windows10, are you referring to Windows 10 laptops or Windows mobiles?

Has this been figured out? I enrolled a Microsoft Surface, and I tried doing a remote wipe, and it says the task completely failed. It works for Android. Windows 10 Pro v1709.
