Sophos Secure Email - Contact Name on Incoming calls on Android not like on iOS

Hi,

we´ve both device types in our Organisation. Android and iOS.

There´s a little difference in the policy settings of them.

In the Android profile I´m only able to set "Allow contacts Export to device". Not an good idea, if p.a. WhatsApp is installed.

In the iOS profile, is an additional Setting which is called "Caller-Identification", so that the contacts don´t need to be exported to the device.

Is this feature planned/possible on Android devices?

Hello Melchor,

for the iOS devices they use the "Apple CallKit" for the SSE App.

This feature isnt available on Android.

Hi,

thanks for the Information.

So Secure Email is, let us say, not working for Companys. Who want´s to use the secure email app without having the Name of the caller displayed? The Option to Export the contacts to the phone is not an option with GDPR.

If I´ve overlooked something, let me know, please.
