Is there any chance we could see the upper limit on passphrase and app PW length removed in the next version, or at least in the near future? Right now it's inexplicably limited to 32 characters.
There is AFAIK no good reason to have a maximum character limit for a passphrase, since none of the commonly used hashing functions have a maximum input limit. All it does is reduce security by requiring users to truncate their passphrases.
I also find it extremely odd that a product warning of the dangers of short passphrases would force the user's passphrase to be below a certain length.
