I have installed the free android Sophos AV & Security Guard on my mobile. It is assumed that once installed any protected applications cannot be access unless a PIN is entered.
I understand there is a grace period, i believe if i was gave my 10 year old son my mobile and unlocked the main screen.
He would be able disable the Sophos application which really negates the purpose of having security.
The real purpose aside from AV is to prevent my kids from downloading application without my permission so i protect Google app store. He can still access it as the program runs in the background he showed me how to disable it. It looks like the password prompt screen does not intercept fast enough.
Is there any support on this as it real is no point installing this as a home user.
