SMC 7 - Remove "Wipe" option under Action menu

We want to set up a policy/restriction that prevents an Admin from having the "Wipe" option under Actions for specific devices. I've not been able to find where to disable this option except in the Self-Service portal. How do I do this?

    Hi Rebecca,

    you can create your own user roles by using the Sophos Mobile Control Role Editor.

    This can be found within the "tools" folder located at "%MDM_HOME%\Wizard"

    In there, you can remove the right "DEVICE_WIPE" for an existing role you copy a role and modify that according to your needs.

    Hi Stefan,

     

    Sorry for not being clear, we're using SMC 7 in the Cloud for administration. I assume this feature will be available at a later date?
