APN certs

Question

Hi, 
 we have 3 APN certificates on our SMC, however they were created using a personal Apple ID. 
 We would like to change this to a corporate Apple ID but if we create new certificates on this ID will it cause problems with the existing devices? 
 Or will the certs be the same as they would be created from the same download from the SMC? 
 WE are on V7.0.10 
 Any help would be appreciated

Hi, 
 changing the Apple ID which is used to managed an APNS certificate is not possible as far as I know. Maybe Apple has a possibility to this but I am afraid there is no way to do this.

if you create a new APN using a corperate apple iD then when added to the smc customer IOS APN screen, when you save the device all existing devices will be disconnected from smc and they will need need re-enrolling. 
 
 the subject name on the cert must match, if its doesnt you will need to re-enrol all devices again.

i beleive you would need to login to the apple account and look at changing name and email address thats associated with the account.
