Secure E-Mail - Export contacts to device

We have the same Problem in my company. We sync all day contacts from a ERP System to Exchange and then to the users Contacts folder. When we use the export functions from the secure mail app the contacts not full synced and the most time there are various number of synced contacts. It can be at a time you have all the 6000-6500 contacts . A hour later you have only 1500,1000,599 or various number of contacts. And this is all the time. We have stopped using the mail app because when this not work then its useless for the workers then they need the contact on their phone. I hope it give a update to fix this problem.  The most of the mobile device we test the app are android 6.0.1 and the secure mail app is up to date.

we have the same problem over here. I can duplicate the problem. Everytime I make a new contact in the secure mail app.

(I think smc tries to sync it to the local contacts and) I loose all my contacts in the default android "contact app" and "phone app" for a brief while, sometimes longer than other times.

In the default android phone app:
- I loose my favorite contacts
- my dial history
- and all contacts

In the defauft android contacts app:
- I loose my favorites
- I loose my contacts

It takes a while for the contacts to restore, and users are flipping out by this, causing me to deinstall it for a couple of users.

Also when android looses the serice to the provider.

It looses the contacts for a brief while.

sorry for the late update.

There will be a change around the contacts synchronization within the next release of Sophos Secure Email which is currently scheduled for November.

This will hopefully solve several issues around the contact synchronization.

also waiting for the update. The latest update this month to v3.10.2 unfortunately doesn't fix this issue. Anyway, I like the fingerprint function in this update.

Hi we have the same problem here on a lot of devices (all the same Honor 5X - Huawei P9 plus)

The last update does NOT solve the problem.

Please can we have an update on this topic.

sorry for the late reply.

the latest app version published mid December contained several bug fixes also around the contact synchronization.

Did the behavior improve on your devices?

If the issue persists, please raise a support case with our support.
