Sophos Mobile Control HTTP Status 404 Error

Hi, i have install the Sophos Mobile Control Software.

- Sophos Mobile Contro 3.0.0.6

- JDK is installed

- MS SQL Database

- Windows Server 2008 R2

After the installation, I tried to open the website "Sophos Mobile Control HTTP". 

The following error is seen:

HTTP Status 404 - /

type Status report

message /

description The requested resource (/) is not available.

    Hi,

    sorry for the late reply.
    This error typically indicates that the SMC service does not come up correctly and the login at the database does not work.
    Please make sure that the connection to the database works fine.
    If you chose Windows Authentication for the connection to the SQL server, make sure to configure Log on credentials for the SMC service. To do so please follow these steps:

    1. Open services.msc.

    2. Stop the SMCSVC service

    3. Open the properties of SMCSVC

    4. Click the "Log on" tab and specify user credentials which is able to login at the SQL database

    5. Start the service after closing all dialogs.

    The connection to the web managment should be possible now.

    Hi Stefan.

    I had the same issue as the OP and followed the steps you outlined above, but I'm not having any luck in getting the web management console to come up.

    I have uninstalled the software and deleted the database, then reinstalled the software with a new database configuration and I continue to receive the same error.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
