Our company website networkwise.co.za appears to have been hacked and is actively being blocked by Sophos. We have restored a clean version of the site and request that it gets unblocked please.
Hello Dave Partridge,
please see Sophos reports that a website is blocked (it will advise you to go to the submission form to submit the URL).
In reply to QC:
Thanks for your help Christian, I have submitted it.
Hi Dave Partridge,
I see that the reported website is reclassified under Business category, Please check and confirm if the change is reflecting at your end.
In reply to Gowtham Mani:
Hi, not sure what you mean?
I checked and it still shows as blocked at my side. Do I need to force Sophos to update on my machine?
In reply to Dave Partridge:
force Sophos to updateis not necessary. Web Protection performs a real-time lookup - of course as this is on a content distribution network it takes a finite amount of time until the updated information is available. I've just checked and http://networkwise.co.za/ is no longer blocked.
OK then maybe it's a delay because here in South Africa on Sophos, ESET and Google all still show the site as affected.
