News from the first few days of the EAP program

Wow, thanks everyone for the participation. In just four business days we have over 1,000 devices under protection and hundreds of customers and partners participating.

We have been seeing lots of detection events from folks running the Sophos Test tool and a few other protection events either from penetration tests or real world attacks that have been being stopped. Overall we are very pleased with the early access program and have only seen a few issues that had not been found in our pre-release testing.  The most relevant for everyone is how the early access Intercept X agent works with the beta for Microsoft Windows 10 Insider.  We are still developing the changes required to be compatible with the upcoming Windows 10 release (MS is targeting this fall) and for now I ask that you not test on the pre-release version of windows 10 Insider/Redstone 3.

To help everyone understand if they have seen a new issue that we are not aware of I created a Known Issues document that I will update every week, or more frequently if something surprising is found.

I have turned on discussion threads for the forum, so if you have any topics you want to know more about or to discuss features and direction of the product, please post a discussion topic.

In other news, if you have found some real-world malware we would love to know about it, just post your findings to the discussion thread
