Cleaning Threats

Hello. I am new to this so I apologize if I did not follow certain protocols.

I have run a scan on Sophos several times. Every time it shows a certain number of "Threats found". I assumed that these threats are cleaned automatically but this does not seem to be the case. My question is, how to clean these threats after the scan.

I also tried to clean two Alerts on my backup. I followed all the instructions on your help line but nothing seem to work.

Events that are resolved automatically will not show up in the Events list. Could you provide a snap of your Alerts list? If it's a PUA, it should provide an option to 'Clean'

If there is no 'Clean' option, then you will manually have to delete the file.

Thanks. I mean the "Threats Found" item, not the "Alert" box. This is on the right side of the screen. The dashboard, however, shows a "0" under "Threats Cleaned". Also, every scan it shows the same number of threats (16).

On the Dashboard threats page it should show both a threat and action of being cleaned, an amber & green notification that should correspond to the "Threats Found" number you see after you run a scan.

If auto-cleanup failed, a warning would be displayed on the dashboard that manual intervention is required. This is what you would need to pay attention to.

Do you see any warnings on your dashboard?
