Any idea why my free Home XG Firewall lisence is expired?

Hello all!

I just noticed that my Home XG firewall lisence is expired.

All the modules in the Administration under the Lisencing tab has expired. Installation went right and so on. How I can get my lisence back up? I can't find any info about this.

This is my first post so be tender if this was the wrong Place. =)

Hi Arttu,

Did you request a free trial or home user version? A Home use license can be found here: https://www.sophos.com/en-us/products/free-tools/sophos-xg-firewall-home-edition.aspx

Thx for the reply Bob,

Home User version was used and that's why I'm a bit confused about the expiration. Can't find any renewall nor renew options either.

Quess I just have to start all over again =/...

Hi Arttu,

The email that gets sent after you register should read "Thank you for your interest in Sophos XG Firewall Home Edition". Registering using the serial number contained in the email will result in a perpetual Home Use license.

Hi Bob,

in this case it did not and my expiration date was reached. There was some kind of problem with the registration earlier but it passed tho..

But I have reinstalled the thing again and now the dates are good.
