Zorin os 12 and Sophos free antivirus

Hello Everyone, I am new to Linux, and have downloaded Sophos Free Antivirus. I followed instructions for installing Sophos, in the terminal, got down to the licence agreement,

and then it said it had installed. There is no shield, dashboard or anything. If I try to install in the terminal again, it says it is already installed. I have no idea how to get this going.

In the terminal I typed in cd Downloads/, then tar -zxvf sav-Linux-free-9.tgz, then cd Sophos-av/, then sudo sh install.sh, and it did install. I have always used Windows, very easy to

install anything. Do not know what I have done wrong here. People say you do not need antivirus in Linux, but I believe you should have it in any system. Hope someone can help me.
