Inability to connect to sophos access point

Good day..My company is using Sophos firewall and 24 access points. Having 75 users. We recently discovered that some users cannot be able to login to our captive portal whilst previously they were able to do so.As a temporary measure we restart the firewall and the users can join the network. The problem reoccurs again. Please can someone explain why this is happening and the way forward..Thank you
