Running SEC 5.5.1 on Windows Server 2008 R2(I know, I know, but it is what it is).
Please forgive me if I am using the wrong terminology, as I was only given this task yesterday evening and have no prior experience of SEC.
My boss has asked me to add the BitPaymer signature to SEC but I can't work out how to do this.
I have tried searching the forum and the Internet no no avail. I may not be searching for the correct phrases to be honest.
He has given me the file extension and the SHA256 signature.
Any help (or the location of a HOWTO) would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Paul Beaman
It is not possible to add the signature manually into the Sophos Update Manager. Sophos publishes the signature every day for the different detections and they automatically get updated in Sophos Update Manager and through it to Endpoint.

Thanks for your speedy reply Jasmine.
Is there any way I can check in SEC to see if the signature is present in the current definitions?
Or is there a team I can contact at Sophos that can check this for me?
In reply to Paul Beaman:
I would suggest you submit the file to our Sophos Labs so that they can analyze the same and add the signature.
