I'm getting a "Virus/Spyware detected" alert

Question

I'm getting a "Virus/Spyware detected" alert on a piece of software that has been happily working since 2012, so I seriously doubt it suddenly became a virus. The software in question is from www.video-insight.com and installs into the C:\Program Files (x86)\VI Enterprise\ folder. Is there a place I can upload the EXEs in question to have the signatures revised to no longer detect these?

 ... in order to see the general consensus. 
 I don't want to say exclude the file before the sample has been checked but I guess if all other vendors say it's clean apart from Sophos, maybe that's an option if you need it working straight away. I guess that's your call.
