hmpalert high CPU usage

Could you please confirm if you are on the latest version of HitmanPro? Also, in such scenario Process monitor logs will be more helpful to find out the exact process which is causing high CPU usage. I would recommend you to open a support case for in-depth investigation along with the logs. 

the installed version is 3.7.13.1460.1460.

both CPU and memory are heavily utilized

Thank you for the screenshot. You are using the latest version of Hitman Pro and hence few logs would be required to get this investigated. I would recommend you to open a support case and PM me the case details.

am still waiting for support to extract logs for investigations since last Wed.

Was there a resolution on this case? I have a similar device with HitmanPro Alert version 3.7.14.40.40 with 35% CPU. We've reinstalled the Central client and rebooted several times, but not going away.

The issue was being resolved after applying the hotfix patch as mentioned in this article. You can download and test on any one of the machines facing the issue. Let me know how it goes.
