I believe it is possible to push sophos endpoints from one machine to several others. I tried doing that on my own VMWare lab.
Both through GPO and through the script written, I am unable to deploy the agent on machines.
Can any one help with suggestions?
Is there any error message you are seeing? Kindly check this article for available deployment methods of Sophos Endpoint Security and Control. You can deploy through Active directory group policy by running a script. The steps to be followed are mentioned here.
In reply to Shweta:
I have run the script and even the gpupdate /Force command on the client after restart.
None of it has worked. No process runs on the client, in the "foreground" or background.
Is there an alternative?
In reply to ZadokXerxes:
You can run "gpresult /h C:\Windows\Temp\ GPReport.htm" to verify if the user is getting the group policies to run the script. I'd also recommend that this be pushed out via start-up rather than log-on as this ensures the script runs with system permissions.
An alternative can be to create a single packaged .exe installer with all the parameters specified within it, then have a script to run this set in a start-up GPO. You can do this by using the Sophos Deployment Packager:
