Is there any process to uninstall or remove Endpoint Security and Control from Enterprise Console and from Client Computer?

We are using Sophos Endpoint Security and Control 10.8 and Enterprise Console 5.5.1. Our Sophos Enterprise Console have collected computer information from Domain Controller and we have installed Endpoint Security and Control 10.8 on lot's of computer. For troubleshooting purpose we need to uninstall Endpoint Security and Control 10.8 from client computer. Is there any easy way to uninstall Endpoint Security and Control 10.8 from Sophos Enterprise Console or from Client Computer.

We have round about 3500 Computer in our network.

And is there any way to exit or suspend Endpoint Security and Control 10.8 from client computer?

  • Hello Mohammad Shahjahan,

you can't use the Console to instruct the endpoint to uninstall SESC. Also there is, AFAIK, no single command to uninstall the whole SESC from an endpoint. This How to ... article outlines the steps to create and use a batch file to remove all the components.

What do you mean by exit or suspend Endpoint Security and Control? There's, of course, no act as if it's not there. SESC has a number of components and several parts, many (or most) of them remain installed even if you turn off a particular setting or feature. For example disabling On-Access scanning neither removes the filter nor the service.
