SEC 5.5.0 reports that clients are out of date

Hello,

We are experiencing an issue where the SEC is reporting that a number of our clients are not up to date. When we dial onto a client, the agent reports that the latest updates have been deployed and installed. Could this be false reporting in SEC, and if so how can we rectify this?

Many thanks

  • Hello Fowey River Academy,

    false reporting in SEC
no, not in the sense that SEC "misinterprets" information available to it. The data that determines whether an endpoint is up to date is in the Anti-Virus Details tab: AV version, Detection data, and number of IDEs. You'll likely see that the up-to-date endpoints and those not differ in these data.
It might be a communication issue - please check the Last message time in the Computer Details tab.
