Removal of Sophos / Turning of Tamper Protection Without a Key

Hi,

I've been tasked with removing Sophos from some machines from one of our clients. However I've found that under their company on the portal the machines have been removed and there's no notes about the keys.

Is there any way I can uninstall the copies of Sophos without having to rebuild the machines?

Hello Simon Court,

I assume this is Sophos Central.
If the machine has recently (last 60 days) been deleted from the Console you can recover the password under Logs & Reports. Otherwise please see the How to recover article.

Hi Christian,

You're a life saver - that worked perfectly. The devices were obviosuly deleted within that 60 period and I was able to recover the keys to turn off tamper protection on the two machines I was stuck on to do the Sophops uninstall.
