Cant remove Sophos user Mac?

Sophos was corrupted by migration to new MacBook. Removal tool didn't work. I then manually removed files per another article here, all the ones in \Library\

Then reran the user tool and received a success message. However the Sophos User is still coming up on the login screen.

What am I missing to remove this Sophos User?

Sophos Endpoint Security and Control: How to remove from client computers

If the problem persists, please provide more details regarding the Sophos products that were installed, and what was removed already.

Hi Barb,

I have the same problem posted by Pat Quinn in 2018.

The link you provided is for removing Sophos Endpoint from Windows machines, not from Mac.

I (as he did) need to understand how to remove the "Sophos Endpoint" user from my login screen.

Nothing seems to work.

Try out the suggestions here to uninstall Sophos from a Mac.
