Multiple outbound requests to http.00.s.sophosxl.net/V3/01/2.0.0.127.ip/ (or similar URLs)

Greetings Sophos Community.  I checked my web filtering product (Websense) and saw many outbound requests to this sort of similar URLs (http://http.00.s.sophosxl.net/V3/01/2.0.0.127.ip/).  Anyone else see something like this and know what causes it?  I have 250+ clients and there are too many making this request daily.  Thanks.

    Thank you for the quick reply and information.  My understanding is that a URL entry like this one (http://http.00.s.sophosxl.net/ - 01/184.164.31.50.ip) would be categorized as:

    http.0X.s.sophosxl.net

    HTTP

    SXL3.1

    Alias for above Web category lookups (Web control)

    Is that understanding correct?

    I think so. BTW I see that the address in your original post is 127.0.0.2 - looks like blackholing. So maybe you could add a Website Exception (Web Control) and perhaps a Website Authorization (Web Protection, AV Policy) for these local/pseudo address(es).
