Fix needed: for non-standard permissions in key directories re: article 131959

Hello

I have read all the discussions on this topic and EVENTUALLY found the knowledge base article (not by search wierdly!!)

I am not computer illiterate or unconfident with computers but I'm not familiar with fiddling with the hardware/software as Macs usually run themselves.

I don't understand WHERE to implement the instructions found in the knowledge base article.

How to I identify and locate the problem folders to apply a fix?

Also I would love to know what it means by "your mac may be insecure". I am trying to resolve a problem with an online gaming application where my account was hacked and I really need to establish whether my vulnerabilities have been rectified or whether this problem is causing a relevant risk.

R
