IP PHONES PICKING UP IP ADDRESS FROM A POOL CREATED FOR PC

Hello Guys,

I Currently use Sophos XG as my DHCP server and i have DHCP pools created for PC's and IP Phones. Unfortunately, some Phones pick up IP address from the pool meant for PC's and vice versa. This is giving me a lot of nonadministrative headache, as i would always be required to go to the PC to do an ipconfig release/ renew command for the PC and restarting the IP Phones to acquire the required IP.

I would appreciate if someone can point me to the right direction as concerning what to do to have this sorted out.

Sorry to hear about the issue you are experiencing with the DHCP , we would request you to move this thread to XG firewall group and our engineers shall look into it.
