Add date in product release notes and create an interactive release calendar

See https://community.sophos.com/intercept-x-endpoint/f/discussions/131382/sophos-cloud-sophos-has-released-a-product-update---add-information

please add the release date somewhere in the release notes here https://docs.sophos.com/releasenotes/index.html.

This missing information is really important.

A big plus would be to provide some kind of calendar where you can see the days Sophos has released updates. If you click on that day, you can see the component(s) and klick on it which brings you to the matching product release notes.

Here is my suggestion in visible images:

  • Hi ,
We've discussed the request internally and we don't have an easy way to provide a release date in our endpoint release notes at the moment (because of our staged releases, and the ability for customers to control and pause updates). We’re however looking at other ways to provide the information as part of our continuous improvements.

Following your comment, we've started to include the release date in our Sophos (XG) Firewall release notes below the build number:
    https://docs.sophos.com/releasenotes/index.html?productGroupID=nsg&productID=xg&versionID=18.5

    Hope that helps

  • Hi, thanks for keeping attention to this. I've noticed the release date at the Firewall Release Notes.

From my distant point of view, I cannot see a problem to write a date to a Intercept-X componet of the day it has been first released by Sophos, no matter if Endpoint is EAP or delayed.

The EAP's appear as 1.2.3 BETA on the client so they can be identified as "pre-released" non-GA version.

Hope you manage to add it there in the future.
