How remove sophos server from a virtual windows server?

does anyone know how to remove sophos server from a virtual server? We are having an issue with an application and the vendor wants to rule out the anti-virus protection.

Hi Sheila,

The Sophos installation is Tamper Protected (https://community.sophos.com/kb/en-us/119175 ). Once you have disabled tamper protection you can stop the Sophos services as part of troubleshooting, this will be easier than removing the software completely.
