Sophos_detoured.dll is causing Internet Explorer to crash randomly

Hello,

the analysis of the crash dumps of Internet Explorer are pointing to sophos_detoured.dll as the possible culprit:

FAILURE_SYMBOL_NAME: sophos_detoured.dll!Detoured

I'm on Windows 7 Enterprise, Internt Explorer 11.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Sergio

  • Without seeing the dump it's hard to comment.  If the important code to analyse from looking at the stacks of the threads are in the detored module then it's likely you'd need private symbols and the source code.

I'd be happy to have a look at the dump or two (to check it's consistent) if you want to make it available but it maybe you need to open a Support ticket so Development can take a look with the source and symbols.

    Regards,

    Jak
